Youth M.O.V.E. Oregon incorporates PYD's "40 Developmental Assets" into our programs to help young adults transition successfully into adulthood. These assets are based on the best practices and developmental models across the state. Together, they create a picture of what young people need to become successful in their transition into adulthood.

For a long time, the only formal position every young person held in society was that of a young person. Fortunately, that has changed. Today, young individuals increasingly have more important positions, including that of decision-makers, planners, researchers, and more. The Ladder of Youth Voice was created to encourage youth and adults to examine why and how young people participate throughout communities. Think of specific activities youth are involved in, and measure them with this tool.

ReachOut is an information and support service that employs evidence-based principles and technology to help teens and young adults facing tough times and struggling with mental health issues. All content is written by teens and young adults, for teens and young adults, to meet them where they are, and help them recognize their own strengths and use those strengths to overcome their difficulties and/or seek help if necessary. The Inspire USA Foundation oversees ReachOut.

The Oregon Health Plan (OHP) provides health care coverage to low-income Oregonians through programs administered by the Division of Medical Assistance Programs (DMAP). Currently, more than 600,000 people each month benefit from the health care coverage the Oregon Health Plan provides.

Building Bridges is a national initiative, working to identify and promote practices and policies that will create strong, closely coordinated partnerships and collaborations between families, youth, community - and residentially - based treatment and service providers, advocates, and policy makers to ensure that comprehensive mental health services and supporters are available to improve the lives of young people and their families.

The RTC for Pathways to Positive Futures aims to improve the lives of youth and young adults with serious mental health conditions through rigorous research and effective training and dissemination. Our work is guided by the perspectives of young people and their families, and based in a positive developmental framework.

The Making Healthy Choices Guide is a guide to psychotropic medications for youth and young adults who are in foster care. There are options. Click the link to learn more to decide what is best for you.
