Motivational Speaker
Martin Rafferty, the Executive Director of Youth M.O.V.E. Oregon, continues to delight audiences across the United States through his humor and passion for youth/young adults. His devotion to improving the services and systems that support positive growth and development in young people who have experienced various systems including (but not limited to) mental health, juvenile justice, education, and child welfare is unmatched!

Workshops
Youth M.O.V.E. offers workshops for youth/young adults, professionals, parents/caregivers, and community members.
We define a workshop as a series of working sessions that are educational in nature. Groups of people meet over a shorter period of time to concentrate on a specifically defined area of discussion. The purpose in conducting a workshop can vary: team building, reducing stigma around mental health, improving services for transition age youth, teaching leadership skills, etc.

Youth M.O.V.E. Oregon has many different training options for you and your agency or the community to take advantage of! If you are interested, our staff would be more than pleased help you in this process. We are committed to working locally to design the right training and experience for the unique needs of each group. We understand the importance of being culturally responsive in the trainings we provide.

While many of our trainings are very beneficial and effective, we know how challenging it can be for professionals to implement systems of change in their own agency or community; we are here to help you with that.
